Caring For Your Furniture

Each item in our range can be crafted from natural wood, solid wood veneers and painted MDF, all produced from sustainable sources to minimise any impact on our environment. Wood is a natural product and therefore grain patterns, knots and small movements are completely normal.

PREVENTING DAMAGE

Sunlight can damage the finish of furniture, so please try not to position in front of a window or in direct sunlight. Moisture can cause damage and bubbling, if a spill occurs, mop it up immediately with a dry cloth and ensure all liquid is absorbed. We would also advise the use of coasters and placemats.

Heat can also be damaging to natural wood so please avoid placing your furniture too close to radiators or fireplaces, never place dishes from the oven on the tops, use a heat proof mat or trivet.

CLEANING

All items in our ranges are finished with a lacquer or paint to protect the wood and enhance its natural beauty. Items with a painted or lacquered finish should be dusted regularly to prevent the build-up of dirt or debris. Use a soft damp cloth for a deeper clean.

Please do not use abrasive materials or silicone based cleaners. Never use furniture polish or cleaners on waxed items, simply wipe with a soft damp cloth. Fabrics should be vacuumed regularly.

If you have any questions regarding your individual range or piece of furniture, please do not hesitate to call, email or message us and we will do our best to advise.
